Q: How do I clean Tek-Dek and Atlanteak? 

A: For external decks either use hot soapy water and a stiff brush or advisably a pressure washer. For internal cockpits, just use hot soapy water and a stiff brush.

Q: Does Tek-Dek and Atlanteak stain?

A: With liquids like red wine spilt on the decking it is easily cleaned with hot soapy water and a stiff brush. Likewise this method of cleaning can be used immediately on fuel spillages on the deck. Paint spillages need to be left to dry and then you can use a P40 course grade sand paper to sand the decking always going with the grain like you would with wood and not against it.

Q: How long does Tek-Dek last?

A: The product (Tek-Dek) is waranteed for 5 years. This product is 5mm thick and being PVC, over all my years working with this product i have never seen it deteriorate.
